Yelda is a photographer living and working in Hamburg, Germany.

After graduating from the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg and assisting a variety of photographers, she started her own casting agency. Soon after she shifted her focus onto food and photography and have been stuck in there ever since. 

In 2014 she founded the online-magazine GUSTORY with webdesigner Jonas Arleth. Also in 2014 Food Swap Germany was born in collaboration with Swantje Havermann. In May 2016, her cookbook "FOOD SWAP" was published with publishing house EDEL Books.

Her second cookbook "Ein Tag in Istanbul - Rezepte und Geschichten vom Bosporus" - for which she wrote the recipes and took the photographs for - with publishing house Hölker Verlag will be released in June 2017.
